Lisa Ling on Larry King for Laura Ling & Euna Lee

UPDATE: Laura Ling and Euna Lee return home

More coverage for Laura Ling and Euna Lee. Monday was a busy day for Lisa Ling hitting up the Today Show and Nightline. Hopefully, the word is getting out. Joining Lisa Ling on Larry King live included Michael Saldate (Euna Lee’s husband), Iain Clayton (Laura Ling’s husband), Mary Ling )mother of Lisa and Laura), and Doug Ling (father of Lisa and Laura). All the families have bonded over this unfortunate situation including Mary and Doug Ling, who are separated. Communication with Laura Ling and Euna Lee has been very difficult. Compounding the problem is that Laura Ling has a recurring ulcer and Euna Lee has a 4 year old daughter. Hope things turn for the better soon.

Today, there will be vigils for Laura Ling and Euna Lee all across the country. Find a vigil here. BTW – Don’t forget to sign the Petition to Free Euna Lee and Laura Ling here.

Lisa Ling on Nightline for Laura Ling & Euna Lee

Following her appearance on the Today Show, Lisa Ling pleads for the release of Laura Ling and Euna Lee on Nightline. Lisa Ling is the older sister of Laura Ling and a Nightline contributor.

Lisa Ling talks about the arrest of Laura Ling and Euna Lee and her communication with them. Diplomacy hasn’t worked the past 3 months between North Korea and the US as North Korea continues its nuclear tests. Definitely an emotional interview for Lisa Ling. There’s been a lot of grassroot support online to free the 2 journalists, especially Facebook, which Lisa Ling uses as her “support” group. BTW – Don’t forget to sign the Petition to Free Euna Lee and Laura Ling here.

More details of the interview with Lisa Ling can be found here.
