Project CSTT

Ellie over at Seoulbeats/AAtheory has a interesting project against racism. The goal of Project CSTT is share your experiences with prejudice and discrimination (both positive and negative). If it’s a negative experience, write Change The Theory (CTT) at the end of the experience. If it’s a positive one, please write Spread The Theory (STT).  To participate, submit your experiences to :

P.O. Box 75
Closter, NJ 07624

If one person changes his/her way because of another person’s story, then we have just climbed a step into reaching equality and putting an end to racial discrimination.

The Census: Get Counted

Arowana FILMS did a great PSA about the Census featuring the likes of Far East Movement, Wong Fu Productions, (Phil and Wes), Randall Park, and more. Here’s some interesting facts about the Census:

On a quest for 400 billion dollars…

It’s that time again. Every ten years, our nation conducts a census. Many people question the need for it, or are skeptical of why the government wants our information, but the fear is really much ado about nothing. 400 billion dollars per year will be allocated based on the results of the 2010 Census. Asian Americans are one of the most likely groups to throw out their Census forms. This only hurts our own community in the long run. Less numbers, less money. Let’s get it right this decade and make sure we GET COUNTED!

Traphik commentary on race

Traphik keeps it real by talking about why Asian American collaborating with each other on YouTube. Nice commentary about building up the Asian American music scene. Props to Traphik for telling it like it is. There is no real outlet for Asian American artist to showcase their talent other than the Internet, which is one of the main reasons we launched channelAPA.com.

Check out some of Traphik’s collabos : Baby, Say Ahh , Bedrock, and Forever. We’re really looking forward to the upcoming collabo between Traphik and Jin
