Lyrics to April by Imaginary Friend x Kina Grannis

If your head isn’t right, if you falter
Let it run, let it burn through the trees

Tie it on, let it fall, let it linger
Hide away from the comfort of me

And we’ll talk about what’s to talk about

April, hold up all you have and let me down
I don’t ever want to wonder about you now
Wash the remnants from your memory, sight unseen
April, take me from your heart and cut me clean

Take your card
Lay it down on the table
It’s a heart, it’s a way back to me
On your own, suddenly you are able
But it’s harder to go once you’re free

And I will try to block the light

April, hold up all you have and let me down
I don’t ever want to wonder about you now
Wash the remnants from your memory, sight unseen
April, take me from your heart and cut me clean

With the help of singer Melissa Polinar, Jesse Barrera released a very personal song “Saved” off his “From The Ground Up” album. He has a special message for those who’ve gone through some rough and depressing times:

I wrote this song about a time I was going through a depressing and dark stage of my life. I thought I had nothing more to live for and was reminded that there was so much more out there for me and so much more to be thankful for.

I get fan messages every once in awhile about a lot of your personal struggles… Depression and suicidal thoughts. We all have them and I’ve definitely been through some major turmoil in my life. I want all y’all to know that if there ever comes a point where you feel like this life is too much for you to handle — Just remind yourself that there are people who love you.. And would do anything for you. So keep truckin’, keep your head up and things will fall into place.

There’s always someone there if you need to be “Saved”.

You can get the single on Saved (feat. Melissa Polinar) - From the Ground Up or amazon.

Dirty Bass experts Far East Movement are the pitchmen for the BoomSound technology in the latest HTC One commercial. On the average smartphone, sharing music or a video with friends is a frustrating experience. A tiny speaker will tame even the most ferocious track. But the new HTC One’s BoomSound™ changes all that. Dual frontal stereo speakers powered by built-in amplifiers deliver bigger sound with less distortion and more detail. You can hear the Far East Movement single Turn Up the Love playing in the ad. You can get the phone here.
