Jhameel x DWNTWN x Giraffage team up for the music video for their single “Move Me”. The dreamy synth pop track gets an equally hazy ethereal visual feel. In the video, Jhameel and Jamie Leffler of DWNTWN long for each other with their soft sensual voices. The separation from each other is killing them. They just want to be together.
(DWNTWN)
i like the way that you move me
i like the way that you walk the line
i like the way that you move me
i need a man who can make me cry
(i need a girl who can make me die)
(Jhameel)
simple girl fell into the ground
while she saw the world
sigh
and i’m doin the same damn thing
hated by the only one that never was afraid if i
do what you wanted in the
middle of the night i kissed you on the hand
your body is a mortal sin
caught you in the morning
morning when you told me i’m afraid that you’ll be
sick of me
it’s better i leave
(chorus)
(Jhameel)
sad like a sideways bottle on my mind
gimme the time
gimme the chance
take the feelings of my chest
gimme the hope
i figured though
i need more
think of the things that you said
all the times i pushed you
face on my mind
similar eyes
gimme some time
similar ways i fake
similar thoughts i hate
methodical
a miracle
it’s sad to see
some of the thoughts aren’t me

Hello there baby How has it been?
It’s been some time since I could call you a friend
When things got hard you left me high and dry
And then when winter came, you flew to southern skies
Baby you, you were the one
But you got scared and decided to run
Well things done changed
And I ain’t the same
And I ain’t never gonna let you play your games
You had your chance
But you threw it all away
So now you can dance all alone for the rest of your days
And I worked my fingers right down to the bone
To make you happy and build a sacred home
But oh you were foolish you must’ve bumped your head
You packed your things and left me
And this is what I said
Where you baby when I needed a friend then
Someone I could count on till the very end
I gave my all just to keep you here
And I don’t even know why I shed them tears
You broke my heart and left me all alone
And now you on the phone beggin me to come home
Well I moved on so I must say goodbye
But you on your knees and you’re wondering why…

[ANDREW]
It’s 4am on a Saturday, still awake
Checking ya Facebook page, listening to drake
Thinking, I can’t wait to see you during winter break
Just hopin you dont got a man and I’m too late
Because college aint really quite college
when the hometown girl is where ya heart is
And when i go to parties, I’m feeling kind of lost
Not really interested in girl trying to talk
Damn…So what the hell am I paying tuition for?
If every day on campus I just miss you more…
They tell me dont settle I should go off and explore
Cuz opportunity can knock all over these doors
It’s probably cuz im a silly little freshmen
I can barely finish this text message
I don’t get it, so I gotta grow up
Believe me when I say I don’t really know love
[DAVID]
Well this has gotta be the longest crush ever
Used to be hurtin now I’m doin much better
But I can’t lie, think about you all the damn time
To the point that I can’t rhyme, feel me?
You liked bad boys but I was a good one
Douchebag frat boys, I was a good son
Guess I was a lil too nerdy, nerdy
You were a lil too purdy, purdy
Rims on my Civic too dirty dirty
They told me just wait until l I’m thirty thirty
So I can date a younger girl, k-pop wonder girl
Cropped tank top jean shorts in the summer girl
But I’m still on you, still on you
Even though I know I should chill on you
I know that its dumb needa to pull it together
But I think you’re a great one thats worth the effort
Singer Jessica Sanchez released her debut album “Me, You & The Music”. Born and raised in Chula Vista, California, Sanchez has worked on honing her vocal versatility for almost her entire life. She started singing when she was two and lists Mariah Carey, Etta James, and Ray Charles among her musical influences. At age ten she performed Aretha Franklin’s Respect on an episode of Showtime at the Apollo. A year later, she competed on the premiere season of America’s Got Talent, reaching the wild-card round before getting cut. Over the next few years, Sanchez performed at venues both large and small (including a 2008 San Diego Chargers game) and released a number of covers (such as Etta James’s I’d Rather Go Blind ) through an independent record label. After nailing her American Idol audition in 2011, Sanchez climbed to the final two and landed her deal with Interscope soon after the season finale. Diving into the recording of her debut in Summer 2012, Sanchez took a break from the studio to tear through a rousing, choir-backed rendition of Marvin Gaye’s All I Need To Get By at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. All her hard work has paid off with “Me, You & The Music”.
