David Choi cam at Kollaboration 9

See all the behind the scenes and onstage footage from David Choi at Kollaboration 9. He sang YouTube (A love song). Cool footage if you ever wondered how live performances work from the singer’s perspective. Here’s a quote from David Choi’s blog:

Thanks to EVERYONE who came out to support me at Kollaboration 9!!! The Shrine Auditorium (which held the Academy Awards and Grammys) SOLD OUT and I also heard there were people waiting outside who couldn’t get in! (Sorry if any of my supporters couldn’t get in!!!!!)

I played YouTube (A Love Song). The reason why I played the YouTube song was because I took a poll on YouTube and allowed all my subscribers to vote on what they wanted to hear. YouTube (A Love Song) won by popular demand! My subscribers on YouTube mean a lot to me so I wanted to involve them in this historic moment in my career. This was my way to say thanks for supporting me.

When I was backstage and the curtains opened, I was overwhelmed with just the image of the audience, the lights, and the whole asdfthfghvdsf. It kind of reminded me of when I went skydiving for the first time and looked at the ground below me. Almost looked fake. It was like a painting…I can’t really explain it, but I was in awe.

I’m glad I brought my laptop on stage to make me feel at ease. I think it did the job. Thanks Macbook Pro.

I’m also happy it’s over now because I will no longer have long waves of nervous breakdowns and sweaty palms.

And once again, thanks to everyone who came out, thanks to each and every one of the Kollaboration staff members, everyone who said hi, gave me hugs, took pictures, bought a CD, clapped for me, bought me a hotdog, gave me candy, made me a lei, supported me, offered me drinks, shook my hand, answered my questions, and believed in me.

Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks!!!! And THANKS!!!!!
