You’ve seen the ads … maybe even the behind-the-scenes video. Now here’s your chance to be part of something new and fresh at McDonald’s, brought to you by ChannelAPA.com. If you haven’t heard (you might be the only one), McDonald’s is introducing a new, great-tasting fish option: Fish McBites™

If you loved McDonald’s Chicken McBites, then you’re in for a treat with the new Fish McBites. They’re tender, crispy pieces of poppable white flaky Alaskan Pollack – responsibly sourced and wild caught from sustainable fisheries.

Imagine a taste explosion of delicious, bite-sized fish.

To celebrate the launch of this new product, we’re giving you a chance to show how the great taste of Fish McBites moves you – and have an opportunity to be a part of an upcoming McDonald’s commercial!

Here’s how it works:
1) Read all the rules below 🙂
2) Download the official Fish McBites music here.
3) Go to McDonald’s and try some Fish McBites (Save some for your video!)
4) Make a 30-second video of you doing your best interpretation of a “Fish Dance,” showing how the flavor of Fish McBites moves you
5) Email a link to your video to channelAPA.com at channelapa.promo@gmail.com by March 31, 2013.
6) Share your video with every one you know on the face of the planet!

A panel of super-important creative-types will review the videos, and the best ones will appear here on channelAPA.com. If there is one individual that stands out above the rest, the panel will give that person an opportunity to be featured in an upcoming McDonald’s commercial!

This project is only open to residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at time of initial participation.

By submitting your video, you agree to the following rules and guidelines:

Submission Guidelines:

• Video submissions should be no longer than 1 minute
• Usage of the Fish McBites music is limited to your video submission and may not be reproduced or used anywhere else
• Send your submissions to channelAPA.promo@gmail.com in YouTube link/vimeo link/mov/mp4/mpeg4/avi/wmv.
• All submissions must be received by March 31, 2013 11:59pm PST. Any submissions received after this date will not be considered. channelAPA.com is not responsible for any delays due to technical issues or unforeseen circumstances.
• All submissions become the property of channelAPA.com. By submitting your entry, you agree to allow channelAPA.com to use your video for marketing or other purposes. Individuals featured in the video agree to waive any compensation or usage/rights fees.
We are not seeking commercials or sales pitches for McDonald’s® — we’re asking for short dance videos that best show how the new Fish McBites moves you.


Video Criteria

  • A panel of reviewers will review each submission.
  • Submissions will be judged on creativity, dance skill, and ability to show off their best fish dance. Use of the Fish McBites product or packaging in the video is preferred, but not required.
  • Videos that depict inappropriate/graphic behavior or language, dangerous stunts or other actions that may endanger the safety of individuals or people around them will not be considered.
  • Any number of people can participate in a single video submission. However, a maximum of one
    individual may be selected to appear in a McDonald’s commercial, regardless of the number of individuals that may appear in a single video.
  • If the panel identifies one individual that they feel stands out from the rest, that person will be invited to participate in an upcoming McDonald’s commercial. Identifying an individual to appear in the commercial is solely at the discretion of the panel, and a person may not be selected for the opportunity.
    • If an individual is selected, reasonable travel expenses to/from the shoot and lodging will be covered
    • Compensation will be based on standard industry/SAG talent/extra guidelines
  • If an individual is selected, the person will be notified by June 2013.

Kristen Kish wins Top Chef Season 10

“Top Chef” crowned its 10th winner, and the franchise’s second female winner ever, Kristen Kish, with the highest-rated episode of the season. Kristen was labeled the comeback kid for Top Chef Season 10 for her comeback from winning Last Chance Kitchen, which landed her a spot in the final two, and in last night’s finale she faced off against Brooke Williamson, the chef with the most wins throughout the series’ 10th season. The two finalists were tasked with cooking five dishes live in front of a studio audience – including host Padma Lakshmi, judges Tom Colicchio, Hugh Acheson, Emeril Lagasse and Gail Simmons, and all nine previous “Top Chef” winners for the first time ever. Also part of the audience were members of the contestants’ friends and families.

He follows world famous Chef Creole to the heart of Little Haiti where food is paramount to the neighborhood’s steadfast Creole roots. The pair stop at Creole’s kitchen to chat about the community and trade techniques before grilling up a whole 100 lb pig and serving it up at the Miami Dolphins tailgate. Bookending Fresh off the Boat’s season 1 finale, Creole’s clan brings Eddie out on Biscayne Bay to barbecue steak and vibe out, Haitian style. Then it’s back on the boat, ready to gun it toward season two.
