I really enjoy connecting with people around the country and world with this blog. Watching Dirty Little Secret has me reminiscing on my amazing experiences as a TRESemmé Stylist. Not everyone I meet spills a dark secret like Riley and some just want a hair tip or piece of advice. There’s satisfaction when you know you have helped someone whether it be deciding on what brush to use, helping an aspiring stylist follow his or her dream or just being a sounding board. When I get emails from people who tell me I’ve made an impact in their life, it’s a great feeling!

As the temperatures continue to rise, I am stepping out in more of the summer’s hottest trends. I enjoy mixing soft details like a floral print or shear fabric with a studded belt, strong platform heels or another edgy element. With my hair, I’ve been playing with the length. My soft and short cut works great with a bold lip color.

Malina reignites Lauren’s creativity by taking her to an uber-cool underground Speakeasy. One of the things I love about this city is that there is something for everyone. Wherever there is good music and just enough intimacy to strike up conversation, that’s where you will find me. I live in Brooklyn and am usually in the Fort Greene, Williamsburg, or Carol Gardens neighborhoods. I love my borough’s relaxed vibe. When I’m in the mood for a night in the city, you can find me below 14th Street in the Lower Eastside, East Village or West Village areas enjoying cool people and hot music.
