2012 YTF Legacy Fall Tour

YTF Legacy will be launching its 2012 Fall Tour in early October in the following cities: Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, and Minneapolis. YTF is comprised of the biggest celebrity entertainers from YouTube and the social networking world. Led by Ryan Higa (aka “NigaHiga”), one of YouTube’s biggest personalities, these new media stars have developed a live concert that takes elements from their successful online channels and creates a unique entertainment experience for fans. YTF also features Victor King (Quest Crew member, winner of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew); Chester See (musician/songwriter, former host of Disney Channel’s Disney 365); Dominic Sandoval (aka “D-Trix“, judge on America’s Best Dance Crew, finalist on ABC’s So You Think You Can Dance); Andrew Garcia (singer/performer, American Idol semi-finalist); and JR Aquino (singer/songwriter, American Idol semi-finalist). International Secret Agents (ISA) just seems to get bigger every year. This fall they’ll hit five cities across the country showcasing the best in Asian American entertainment. Here’s the schedule for ISA starting next month:

Sept 1 – New York City – Terminal 5
Sept 2 – Boston – The Orpheum Theater
Sept 30 – Houston – Cullen Performance Hall – University of Houston
Oct 12 – San Jose – San Jose Civic
Oct 13 – Los Angeles – Pasadena Civic Auditorium

Tickets go on sale soon. Be sure to get tickets early. These events are guaranteed to sell out. Stay tuned for additional details on the line up next week. You can expect Far East Movement, Wong Fu Productions, Ryan Higa, and KevJumba. So don’t want to miss out on this. Will you be there?

Asian Rock Fest (ARF) returns the San Francisco Bay Area. This year, the concert takes place in Berkeley, California on Friday July 13, 2012. There will be ass-kicking bands from all over the west coast as well as phenomenal solo artists. The show’s annual music festival showcases the best of Asian American bands and artists. Started in 2004, Asian Rock Fest has brought together dozens of amazing bands from all across America, and hosted festivals from NYC to SF. Get ready to rock the night away with this 2012 lineup that includes:

(09:00) Charito & FunkCH3N – San Jose, CA

(09:20) The Slants – Portland, OR

(10:00) Alex Carbonel – Fremont, CA

This all-ages event will be for the very first time absolutely FREE to everyone because the organizers have generously donated all the money it takes to rent the space and run the show. All that’s left is to donate a few buck to the artists. Don’t let them go home empty handed after entertaining you all night! Donate here. The donation break down will be 20% of donation for each band (60%), 10% of donation for each solo artist (30%), and the last 10% go towards the flyers we have to print.

It all goes down on July 13, 2012 at the La Peña Cultural Center (3105 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley, CA).

Are you ready for the arrival of the 2012 AAIFF(Asian American International Film Festival) in New York City? They are having their launch party this Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 6pm. The full lineup will be announced during the launch party, be there to catch a sneak preview of all the festivities and celebrate with them on this special occasion.

For the AAIFF screenings from July 25-August 5, 2012, three special presentations have already been announced including :
