I just finished a month and a half straight of traveling, and I got on this kick of watching old Adult Swim shows to fall asleep, when I was in hotel rooms or curled up on someone’s couch or sleeping in a dumpster (finding dumpsters near AC adapters…. The worst). It’s funny, because I think ever since Adult Swim was ubiquitous in the geeky scene, it’s always been a weird comfort in every phase of my life, from college, to grad school, to work, and now, to touring as a musician. So I just spun a few tracks off of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, and wanted to make a little homage to Williams Street, for being that kind of comfort. Thanks guys. You rock.

JAKKS Pacific and Dentsu Entertainment USA, has teamed up with Cherrytree/Interscope Records’ chart-topping performing artists, Far East Movement, to create the original theme song for animated action adventure series, Monsuno! The theme song is a high energy blend of hip-hop, pop, electro and dance that is a signature of Far East Movement’s style and sound. This partnership marks the first time the group has created a theme song for an animated television series.
Kev Nish from Far East Movement adds, “We had a great time creating the unique theme song for Monsuno and we think kids are going to love it! We love what we have seen of the animated show and can’t wait to get our hands on the toys.”
