It’s getting ugly over at Toyota. They are recalling 8 vehicle models to fix accelerator pedals that stick. The Japanese car company will also be halting sales and production of these eight models, including the top-selling Camry and Corolla. The eight models affected represented 57% of Toyota’s sales in the U.S. last year. (Yikes that not going to be pretty.) The recall affects over 2 million cars including:
2009-2010 Corolla
2007-2010 Camry
2009-2010 RAV4
2009-2010 Matrix
2005-2010 Avalon
2010 Highlander
2007-2010 Tundra
2008-2010 Sequoia
Their reputation for top notch quality will definitely be blemished after this. Will they still be able to remain as the #1 car manufacturer after this? Also interesting to note is that the Prius is not on the list. Get more about the recall here.
