Here’s a powerful message from student Ju Hong, an undocumented immigrant. He came to the USA in 2001 when he was 12. In his senior year of high school, Ju learned that his visa expired. Now, he can’t legal job, obtain a driver’s license, or receive financial aid.

Ju Hong and other undocumented students want you help in supporting the DREAM Act. Under the rigorous provisions of the DREAM Act, undocumented young people could be eligible for a conditional path to citizenship in exchange for a mandatory two years in higher education or military service. Undocumented young people must also demonstrate good moral character to be eligible for and stay in conditional residency. At the end of the long process, the young person can have the chance to become an American citizen.
