In the music video “Mama Filipina”, Apl.de.Ap sings about were he grew up in the Phillipines. (Listening to the song makes us think about Children of the Sun by Deep Foundation)

Taking advantage of the recent success of two number on singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling“, Apl.de.Ap is not only working on his solo album, but also launched his own record label, called Jeepney Music.
