Rapper Traphik teams up with singer Tori Kelly in the music video for the single “Magnetic” off Traphik’s Cruise Control mixtape. Once again the rapper collaborates with director Todd Angkasuwan (Fly Young Gentlemen) to deliver yet another entertaining video. The storyline for the video of the cute love song follows Traphik and Tori Kelly as they run through the streets of Los Angeles with animated expressions around them. Little do they know that as the come closer together they are inexplicably drawn to each other. There can be only on conclusion when you have a magnetic personality.
It’s great to see collaborations with high profile hip hop directors like Todd Angkasuwan and Rik Cordero working with up and coming music talent with the like of Traphik and D-Pryde. Both coasts are showing what can be done in the Asian American community when we see this type of teamwork. We hope to see more in the near future.
