Audio Fiction dropped their music video for their song “Worlds Apart.” It’s the first single on their new EP Worlds Apart. Funded by fans in February 2012, the album is slated to be released at the end of summer. In the meantime, you can get a taste of what they have in store from Kristin Wilson’s voice to Charles Park’s guitar riffs. The visuals for the music video follows a clown, whose relationship has fallen apart. Although they try to keep the relationship intact, they are just worlds apart from each other. You can feel the pain coming through the vocals on the single.
Members of Audio Fiction are very multi-talended. The Worlds Apart EP was produced and mixed by luminaries from the video game world. Producer Darren Korb created last year’s award winning – and 80,000 unit selling – soundtrack to the hit game Bastion. Jeremy Parker, by day the lead engineer of Zynga’s top selling game, Draw Something, mixed all tracks. Also the band’s drummer Mark O’Toole doubles as the director of the music video.
You can get the single on or amazon.
