Exploring beyond the glitz and glamour of Bollywood films, The Bollywood Project is a feature-length documentary that exposes the reality of four artists rarely acknowledged in the film industry, and what it means to dream big in Bollywood. These are the workers whose physical labor is required on sets, the creative artists who are responsible for the look of top celebrities, the performers who are thrown in amongst dozens of others in a song-and-dance number. The film uncovers the stories of four characters working behind-the-scenes in Mumbai, India’s ‘city of dreams’. An international production team has documented these people’s lives for the last three years. Get the real feel of what it’s like trying to survive in the concrete jungle of Mumbai.
