Get ready for the short film “3 Minutes” starring Harry Shum Jr (Glee, LXD) and Stephen “tWitch” Boss (So You Think You Can Dance) along with Thaine Allison and Katrina Law (Spartacus: Blood & Sand). It’s a thriller loaded with non-stop action from start to finish! Although there are high profile dancers in the short, dancing won’t be in this short. Looks like Harry Shum Jr. is taking a stab at being an action hero. In the teasers, there are guns, some sort of chase going on, and a light saber? Tune in on January 10, 2011 to see the premiere.

Harry Shum Jr. isn’t the only one trying something different. Director Ross Ching, known for some of his music videos and special effects work, helmed the short. You’ve seen his handiwork in Valentine by Kina Grannis, Offbeat by Clara C, and Running on Empty. 3 Mintues is also produced by George Wang and Don Le. Word has it that Paul Dateh is scoring the music for the short too.
