The MTV web series “Status Updates” kicks off with episode 1 entitled “Tag Wars”. Scott starts dating Melanie, and Maggie insists it’s not awkward for her to hang out with them as a third wheel. But when Melanie tags unflattering photos of Maggie on Facebook, it’s obvious that things aren’t that friendly. Scott needs to figure out how he wants to handle these relationships, while Maggie debates whether to untag her bad pics. Meanwhile, Audrey (Vivian Bang) decides to try online dating, but doesn’t get the results she’s looking for. Should she change her criteria to get better results?
