Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jeremy Lin finished with 29 points (12-22 FG, 3-5 3FG), eight assists, six rebounds, & two steals and James Harden scored 16 of his career-high 46 points in the fourth quarter, as the Rockets overcame a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit to knock off the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-119 on Wednesday at Toyota Center. Overall, it marked Lin’s ninth 20-plus point performance of 2012-13. Lin has shot 48.3 percent (56-for-116) from 3-point range over his last 11 games. Wednesday was Houston’s ninth double-digit comeback win this season.
On the Rockets effort, Lin stated “We fought really hard tonight and we didn’t know what to expect. It was an emotional night for all of us. I am just proud of the effort from the entire team and I am just thankful to God that we were able to pull out this win.” As for James Harden’s night, Jeremy Lin said “If he is not up for MVP consideration, I mean, I don’t know what else he needs to do. 46 points on 19 shots. I mean, he made every single big play down the stretch and even the shots that I was able to have, they were created because of him. Man, he played phenomenal tonight.”
Looks like things are coming together for the Houston Rockets. The Houston Rockets also rearranged their team mid season with two trades that will send Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas to the Sacramento Kings and Marcus Morris to the Phoenix Suns.
