Jeremy Lin kicked off the 2012-13 NBA in his first game as the Houston Rockets‘ starting point guard. With only a few days to gel will new teammate James Harden from the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Red Nations’ backcourt helped lead the Rockets over the Detroit Pistons in a 105-96 victory. Jeremy Lin delivered 12 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals, while James Harden dropped 37 points and 12 assists. That’s a combined 49 points and 20 assists for the backcourt starters. Note: None of the Rockets starters had ever started an NBA opener. We’re looking forward to see what Jeremy Lin and Rockets have in store this season. Will we see another run of Linsanity?
