If you thought Linsanity was bad in New York, it’s even worse when Jeremy Lin is in Taiwan. The paparazzi are all over him from the airport to the hotel. Even staking out the front of the hotel with cameras waiting for his every move. Feeling the itch to hoop it up, Jeremy Lin along with Josh Fan (Jeremy’s Trainer), Josh Lin (Jeremy’s brother), and David Lee (Jeremy’s former Golden State Warriors teammate) hatch a plan to evade the camera to head to the Xinsheng Courts to play outdoor pick up basketball. When the his fans find out, the word gets out and the court is swarmed by onlookers. After the pickup game, he tosses autographed shoes to his fans. Clearly, it’s an ad for Nike, but it doesn’t matter to the fans. Look for Jeremy Lin with the Houston Rockets when the NBA season begins. Also catch his story on 60 Minutes later this fall.
