The YOMYOMF Network drops a new webseries this summer called BFFs. Episode 1 of BFFs, entitled “The Code”, kicks off with the introduction of the four high school girl friends: Jessica (Dyana Liu), Courtney (Christine Ko), Betsey (Alice Wen) and Sam (Amy Okuda). In the group, Jessica is the alpha dog, Courtney is the face, Sam is the tomboy/muscle, and Betsey is the bad ass. Think Asian Mean Girls. These girls may look sweet and innocent on the outside, but inside they’ve got a mean streak and bad attitudes. They live by a simple code – to fight the power of Suck including idiotic teachers, overbearing parents, and stupid classmates. The only time they can be themselves is at their school club meeting. One (1) hour every week these girls get together for their exclusive club, the Academic Leadership Society. However, Ms. Kael (Meeghan Holaway) has suspicions about the group and threatens to end it. Also look for a cameo by Chester See as the guy that Jessica dreams to be with.
