Amar is 14 and top of his class. Someday he’d like to be a professional cricketer, but for now he’s the family’s main breadwinner, working two jobs six and a half days a week on top of attending school in the afternoons. This short observational documentary is a simple journey with Amar through his daily life. In the almost 10 minute short documentary, he wakes up at 4am to start his day. After getting ready, he bikes to his first job delivering newspapers. Amar squeezes in studying and food before he heads off to his second job. Once he’s done, he heads off to school in the afternoon. His day isn’t over yet as he heads back to work again. He gets off work can arrives home about 10pm, where he studies some more to stay at the top of his class. All great achievements require time.
