Singer Long Nguyen released his 2009 album “Shoebox Letters” for FREE on Youtube. The album is a collection of songs about memories, love, longing, and most importantly, hope. His music is often described as acoustic rock with folk influences.
Born in Vietnam, he and his family immigrated to the United States when he was a child. Growing up in Orange County, Long enjoyed singing in 90′s grunge cover bands. He attended UCLA, where he began writing and singing his own songs at open mics throughout Los Angeles. Long collaborated with musicians and spoken word artists, performing at many venues including universities, bars, clubs, and local radio shows.
