Comedian Eugene Cordero x Improv Everywhere crashed the TED Talks to demonstrate the “Spinning Beach Ball of Death”. Eugene Cordero played the fake speaker, “Colin Robertson” and was introduced like a normal TED speaker. He took the stage in front of 1500 people at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center to give a speech on crowdsourcing solar panel technology innovations can lead us to a new paradigm for health care reform. A few sentences into the talk Apple’s infamous Spinning Beach Ball of Death appeared in the middle of his presentation. The audience felt bad for the guy, when all of a sudden a host of error messages popped on the screen. As he stands awkwardly and waits, things get weird. Get ready for spinning umbrellas, rainbow wigs, tons of beach balls, morph suit dancers, and music.
