Singer AM Kidd dropped his album “Eleven” today (11.11.11). Over the past year, he’s released several singles off the album including Better Than You and Baddest Love. Much of his music comes from his experiences. Here’s more from AM Kidd:
I’ve been through hell and back. You’ve seen it and heard it all through my music & my updates on my social networks. It definitely hasn’t been an easy year for me. I’ve lost friends, lost family, and the people that were once close to me are now distant strangers. There were times when I felt like there wasn’t enough hope to go around and I just happened to get the shorter end of the stick. There were moments when I felt my music wouldn’t get anywhere and that I’d live a dream that only existed in my head. There was a day when I wanted to completely give up and just escape and never look back.
And then I found it. I found hope. It felt like the first drops of rain after a long drought. It felt like my very first breath. I felt like all the weight fell off of me like the leaves in Fall. It felt like November.
