Kal Penn has been jumping back into acting after his time at the White House. Not only will he be in the upcoming film “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas,” but he’s currently on a recurring role on the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”. He plays yet another doctor. This time as Kevin, a court-appointed therapist for Robin, who assaulted a girl who is out to ruin Barney’s relationship. On the show, the two begin a relationship. Kal Penn is slated to be on 5 to 8 episodes, so you’ll be seeing more of him on TV. You’ll also get to watch more interaction with Neil Patrick Harris, who’s also in the Harold and Kumar films. Looks like he’s staying firmly in entertainment. Recently, he told us that he’s developing a new TV pilot.
