Female rapper Shin-B puts her own lyrics over AraabMUZIK’s Streetz Tonight beats. The music video provides symbolism for her time as an artist with plenty of ups and downs. Here’s more from her:
There’s meaning behind each scene though. If you look at each background: the gold door, basement, red box. The gold door represents my PRESENT; having worked my ass off to get to where I’m today; gold status, hopefully. The basement represents where I started, my PAST; the underground from the bottom up. Lastly, the red box represents in between; moments in my life I was angry/bitter/frustrated; felt confined in an emotional prison struggling to chase my dream.
This is a build up to her upcoming single “Buzzkillin'”. See her previous music video Get Up and Go. Check out these other Shin-B tracks: Don’t Let Anyone (Tell U No) , Gotta Move Gotta Groove, See You There, and Prelude to Point 9.
