You may have heard of the all Japanese American 442nd regiment during World War II. The dramatized short film “The Bridge” follows a young soldier, Pfc. Fred Ishikawa. He serves in Europe during World War II and gets separated from his unit. Lost in the throng of the greatest war, the Japanese American soldier regroups with an Allied reconnaissance unit. Together, they must embark on a hazardous patrol in Nazi Italy where they all learn the true meaning of loyalty. This 10 minute short is directed by Sheldon Wong Schwartz.
