The Notorious MSG have been busy promoting their new album “Heavy Ghetto” coming out May 24, 2011. It’s their first full album since they formed in 2002, which marked the birth of the biggest and baddest rap group to come out of New York City’s Chinatown restaurant circuit. Founded by ringleader, Hong Kong Fever (the “Yellow Gigolo”), Down-Lo Mein, and latest third member, Hunan Bomb, the monosodium glutamate-named group has now been schooling planet earth and beyond with their Asian American gangster-ness for 9 years. With their latest album coming soon, the group shared some insights into their lives including their how they became so brollic, their crazy day to day activities, and the mysterious Angus Wong.
