In the latest trailer for HBO’s “East of Main Street” series, we get to see some of the people that will be profiled. Among the Asian Americans featured in the trailer are singer Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, chef Anita Lo, pro skateboarder Willy Santos. Viewers get a glimpse into the lives of these notable Asian Americans as they share stories of their experiences growing up in America, the significance of family and food, and the challenges they overcame to succeed in unconventional careers. Featuring in-depth interviews and observational footage interspersed with archival footage and photos to create an engaging visual story, the East of Main Street segments range in length from five to nine minutes.
