Jeremy Lin sent to NBA D-League

Jeremy Lin sent to NBA D-League

Yesterday, we posted on twitter and facebook that Golden State Warriors guard Jeremy Lin might be sent to NBA D-League, but now it’s official. Depending how you look at it, this is both bad news and good news for Jeremy Lin fans. The obvious bad news is that he’s not in the NBA for now. The good news is that you’ll get to see him play with the Reno Bighorns (the Warriors’ NBA Development League affiliate) and every game is broadcasted live online for FREE. Lin joins the Bighorns for Reno’s game tonight versus the Tulsa 66ers. You can keep track of him and the Bighorns by logging onto NBA.com/dleague.

Jeremy Lin (6-3, 200) has appeared in 17 games this season for Golden State, averaging 1.9 points in 8.5 minutes. He scored his career high against the Los Angeles Lakers. In the 2010 NBA Summer League, Lin averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in five games with the Dallas Mavericks.

We hope to see Jeremy Lin back on the Warriors squad soon.
