After the Warriors announced the Jeremy Lin would be assigned to the D-league, he suited up and played his first game for the Reno Bighorns (the Warriors’ NBA Development League affiliate) last night. It was a quick transition for him. He helped Reno to a 98-91 home win over Tulsa in his debut. In the first quarter alone, he had 5 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal. Jeremy even made the highlight reel. Overall, he played over 17 minutes with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Stats should go up as he gets more play time. (FYI – his jersey number has changed from #7 for the Warriors to #17 for the Bighorns.) One of his new teammates is Patrick Ewing Jr.
