We’ve already posted some of the Unheard Voices from the BP Oil Spill. Here’s another story from the Los Angeles Times about shrimper Phan Plork from Buras, Louisiana. He is one of a fleet of fishermen hired by BP to clean up the oil spill. He’s gone from fishing to be a janitor for BP. Faced with rough seas, inexperience and the arrival of hurricane season Plork and his wife Tal worry for their future. These Cambodian refugees do what they can to survive without the ability to fish and shrimp in the region. We really admire Phan Plork’s faith in God with all the struggles throughout his life. Pray for the people affected by the BP Oil Spill.
