Time Magazine sat down with the Dalai Lama to ask 10 questions from the public. Questions include:
Do you see any possibility of reconciliation with the Chinese government within your earthly lifetime?
Do you ever feel angry or outraged?
Have you ever thought about being a normal person instead of the Dalai Lama?
Will you be able to fulfill your destiny if you never go home again?
Do you believe your time here on earth has been a success?
Have you ever tried on a pair of trousers?
He answers some of the questions on video. See the rest of the questions and responses here. The Dalai Lama is on the promo circuit promoting his book Toward a True Kinship of Faiths.

More about the Dalai Lama
He was enthroned as the Dalai Lama at the age of four, making him the 14th earthly reincarnation of the Buddhist Lord of Compassion. He has served as the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists and led Tibet until he was forced out by Chinese occupiers in 1959, after which he fled to exile in India. Since then the Dalai Lama has traveled the world advocating for a free Tibet, democracy in China and an end to human-rights violations. He has published numerous books on theology, philosophy and international relations. His latest, Toward a True Kinship of Faiths, is on sale now.
