About a year ago, Wong Fu Productions released the trailer for “When Five Fell”. channelAPA.com recently got an update from Wong Fu that this short would be released soon. The wait is now over. Here’s more about “When Five Fell”:
Five household objects express their feelings toward their owner when she begins to neglect them for someone else. “When Five Fell” is a new take on the ideal boy-meets-girl love story. Although the short is told from a unique and unconventional perspective, the emotions described should be familiar to anyone that’s fallen in or out of a relationship. “When Five Fell” is a prologue to “At Musing’s End”
The five objects represent each of the five senses and played by five different people:
Glasses – Sight – David Choi
Telephone – Sound – Bobby Choy aka Big Phony (KTown Cowboys)
Umbrella – Touch – AJ Rafael
Scarf – Smell – Paul Dateh
Mug – Taste – Chris Dinh (“Up in da Club” and “Poser!”)
These objects and senses also represent stages in a relationship too. There are many layers to this short, which are cleverly put together. We had to watch it a few times to really appreciate the short. You can read more thoughts by the director, Wesley Chan here.
