The internet is changing the way the music industry works. Bands and artists can now let fans invest in their projects. One band trying this new concept is Nylon Pink featuring Kaila Yu and DJ Shy. Here’s their statement:

After releasing a couple of singles that still are big hits on Myspace, Youtube and iTunes, we feel it’s time to record a full album. The money that we raise will be used for the recording of that album and for the promotion and marketing of the music.
