This is a weird device from Honda. The U3-X looks like a Segway merged with a unicycle. The device was developed through the robotics research of ASIMO, Honda’s bipedal humanoid robot. The U3-X provides free movement in all directions just as in human walking– forward, backward, side-to-side, and diagonally. In the future, we’ll never need to walk again.
