Typhoon Morakot slammed into Asia over the weekend wrecking havoc all over the region and triggering tsunami warnings. Some of the most dramatic footage comes from Taiwan, where Typhoon Morakot caused the Jinshuai Hotel to collapse into the Jhihben River. The six-story hotel had its foundation eroded by surging floodwaters. Luckily, several hundred people in the hotel were evacuated and uninjured before the devastation occurred.

What is up with all the devastation in Asia in recent years? Remember the Cyclone and Quake last year? We don’t recalled it ever being this bad.
