The way Bobby Jindal was talking in this interview on MSNBC, he could be the new face of the GOP. Earlier this year he made an appearance on The Tonight Show and was considered as the Vice Presidental candidate on the McCain ticket. He’s also demonstrated the ability to handle a major crisis with Hurricane Gustav.
Bobby Jindal suggests 3 things for the Republican party to correct
1) Actions needs to match rhetoric – Republicans talked about taxes cuts, but supported out of control spending
2) Route out corruption – a week before election a senior Republican senator was convicted of corruption
3) Party of solutions – apply conservative principals to the challenge for the economy, health care, etc.
