Beginning October 2008, Diane Mizota is co-hosting Bingo America with Richard Karn on the Game Show Network five nights a week. She also continues to be a Buzz Session host for Yahoo!, using her dance expertise to cover such shows as Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. Recently, Diane also co-hosted the family game show Your Place or Mine for TLC, where she led a fast-paced moving team installing instant room makeovers.
A Northern California native, Diane Mizota attended UCLA and graduated cum laude with her degree in Communications Studies, while pursuing a professional dance career. With credits such as the Academy Awards, Friends, and Memoirs of a Geisha to dancing for Prince and in Boogie Nights, Diane expanded her dance career into acting. Getting her start in commercials, her theatrical credits now include King of Queens, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, CSI: Miami, and a memorable film role opposite Mike Myers as “Fook Mi” in Austin Powers in Goldmember. She also recently starred in a national Cadillac campaign titled, “Accessories”.
For almost 4 years Diane hosted G4’s gadget and video game countdown show Filter. Her loyal fan following made this show one of the most popular on the network.
As the host of the hit kids’ decorating show Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls on NBC and Discovery Kids, Diane helped execute kids’ room makeovers across the country. The show is a spin off of the original Trading Spaces and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2004 and 2005.
In 2006, Diane joined the cast of NBC’s primetime reality show, Three Wishes. As part of a team led by singer Amy Grant, Diane traveled to small towns across America to grant people’s wishes.
As a producer, Diane recently worked as a field producer for the NBC primetime reality show, Momma’s Boys. She has created and produced independent pilot presentations for the Warner Brothers Television Workspace and is currently developing projects with Glassman Media.
