Esther Ku and Papa CJ make the cut to be finalists on Last Comic Standing. In his act, Papa CJ joked about outsourcing the comedy and made fun of Americans. he only thing wrong here was that he did not have new material. Esther Ku did more of her ethnic humor focusing on visiting Korea and being a dumb Asian. One very low point was comedian Heath Hyche. He did a sketch comedy act that had a 1940’s Japanese pilot with slanted eyes and an accent. It smacked if all sorts of wrong. We don’t know how that even got on the air. Both judges we displeased with his act. Judge Richard Belzer said this is 2008, not the 1940s, and that ethnic stereotyping is so not cool. Kudos for Belzer!!
